Take Command! SR20/22 Updates Released

TorqueSim, RealSimGear, and X-Aviation are pleased to announce the release of the following updates for our products:

  • Take Command! SR22 G1000 Series 1.4.0
  • Take Command! SR20 G1000 1.4.0
  • Take Command! SR22 Entegra Series 1.2.0
  • Take Command! SR20 Entegra 1.2.0

These updates consist of a wide variety of improvements and further preparations for X-Plane 12. (This isn’t the X-Plane 12 update, but this is a step towards it. Once X-Plane 12 is released, we will release updates in due course to fully support the new sim at no additional charge to existing customers.

SR20/22 G1000 1.4.0 Release Notes

New Features:

  • Improved maintenance system with expanded procedures and more detailed readouts to distinguish between states and mechanic actions.
  • Physics model improvements, including addressing the starting behaviors by addressing issues in the fuel priming logic.
  • [T-1675] 3D overhaul for windows and ice visualization system (IVS), which looks much better and should increase sim performance!
  • [T-1619] Proper Instrument Brightness Knob Behavior with G1000 Screen Dimming

Note: With this version, Linux support has been removed from the aircraft.
